Close to Vancouver, just a simple 3 hour drive away is the glorious Benaroya Concert Hall. Superb acoustics enable the audience to appreciate the minute subtilties across all music genres. From a ppp “whisper” to the thundering climax of a Wagnerian, Beethoven or Mahler masterpiece, at a full orchestrial fortissimo, this concert hall is indeed an instrument all in itself. Bravo to Seattle for building this remarkable concert hall.

Seattle Opera House / McCaw Hall

A truly exceptional opera house, and arguably one of the worlds ultimate, was opened in Seattle in 2003. I can not say enough for this magnificent opera house. We are so blessed to have these two venues located so close to Vancouver, and just a short drive away. Wikipedia / McCaw Hall
